Safety routines
Sign-in and the deck
Swimmers sign in with their instructor, rinse and wait on the deck bench until their level is called. Pools that ask for a front-desk sign-in tell us, and we tell you.
Parents on site
A parent or guardian stays at the pool during every class and watches from the bench, the stands or the viewing window.
Closed or unwell
We tell families by text when a pool closes, and a missed class is made up in the same session at any of our pools.
Sample details.
In each pool
What each pool adds
We teach in other people's pools, so every pool brings its own staff and its own rules to ours.
The pool's lifeguard
At each pool the pool's own lifeguard is on duty during our classes. The lifeguard watches the pool; our instructors watch our swimmers.
The pool's front desk
A school pool opens its door to us after the school day, and the inn asks families to sign in at its desk. We tell you what yours expects.
The pool's rules
Guests, strollers, shoes and cameras follow the pool's own rules. They are posted at the entrance, and we repeat them before your first class.
