Noodle has no building of its own. Six instructors teach in four rented pools, two in school districts, one at a recreation center and one at an inn, so there is a class near you. Every swimmer starts with a short placement visit in the water.

Same instructors, four pools
A swimmer can change pools and keep the level
Six instructors move between the pools, so a swimmer who changes pools keeps the same level and the same cap color, and often the same instructor. We bring the kickboards and floats; each pool provides the water.
The pool's own lifeguard is on duty during our classes
Every instructor holds the checks on our safety page, and every one has taught in more than one of the pools.
Kimberlee Gadsden
Owner and head instructor
Kimberlee taught physical education for most of her career. She started Noodle after watching families in the county drive from pool to pool looking for a class. She teaches at Pine Hollow and at the recreation center, and she runs the placement visits.
Yoselin Lujano
Instructor, Water comfort and Floating and kicking
Yoselin grew up swimming at the recreation center and now teaches the youngest levels there and at the inn. She keeps the first class gentle and the routine the same every week.
Bud Wallis
Instructor, Gliding and breathing and Distance and technique
Bud coached a high school swim team for many years before he joined Noodle. He teaches at Cedar Ridge on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
Murray Benford
Instructor, Freestyle and back crawl
Murray worked as a lifeguard through college and teaches the middle levels at both school pools. He is the one to ask which pool is closest to your street.
Saki Maruyama
Instructor, Floating and kicking
Saki swam on a college team and teaches the first three levels at the recreation center and the inn. She is the instructor who moves between the most pools in a week.
Esdras Gongora
Instructor, Gliding and breathing
Esdras started as a lifeguard at a neighborhood pool. He teaches at Cedar Ridge on Wednesdays and at the recreation center on Thursdays and Saturdays.
From families
What families write
“We went from driving across the county to a pool close to home. The instructor got in the water with my daughter and explained the level before she explained anything else.”
MV
Macarena V.parent of a six-year-old
“The schedule tells me which pool, which day and whether there is room. When a school closed for an ice day, we had a make-up class the same week.”
DH
Denzel H.parent of a seven-year-old
“Our two swimmers are at different levels and different pools, and it still works. One call and the front desk lined up both classes.”
